After a long hiatus from the blog, I thought it was high time to share some of my more recent travels. Late last year, I took a last minute trip to Brazil. My first stop was Rio, and then I made my way to Belo Horizonte. About a two hour bus ride outside of Belo Horizonte is an amazing outdoor museum that is worth seeing if you are in that part of the country, called Inhotim.
Most of the exhibits are outdoors or in open air structures around a massive property. There are golf carts that take you from different sections in the compound, which I highly recommend taking if you want to see the whole museum in one day. The exhibits are from artists all over the world, and challenge every sense — except maybe taste?
If you’re looking for something a little different to do in Brazil, and want to enjoy being outside, this is a must see.
